My name is Sarah, I'm 19 and I love to sew purses. Really, every step of the process from creating the pattern, selecting the right color fabric, to designing the pockets- I love it all! This is something I truly enjoy doing, and I feel that this is evident in each of the purses I have made.

I learned how to sew when I was a little girl from my mom, and later in my teen years from a dear friend in New Zealand. Needless to say, they both taught me not only HOW to sew, but to LOVE sewing.

Now, why purses? It all started with one pattern—which is now known as the “My Aunt’s Bag” pattern...

You see, I have a lot of Aunts and most of them have little children…therefore they were all on the hunt for a cute diaper bag. A trendy but adorable bag that could hold everything from a bottle of orange juice to the well-worn pacifier. I was convinced that the “Aunt Bag” would be the answer so I made a purse for each Aunt. I soon found myself being asked for more from other Aunts, family, and friends from across the country!

Since not everyone needs a diaper bag I adapted a few more patterns, incorporated a few more textiles, and expanded my space. I want to be known as someone who makes different purses. None that have a modern or copied look, but instead purses that are unique and adorable. With that as my goal, the purses I have made had people all over the country falling in love with them, and I’m sure you will too!
